About Predators

Wildlife conservation is a primary focus at the Montana Mexican John Ranch. From nearly 30 water tanks for wildlife, fencing cattle out of the river corridor and planting thousands of trees each year, wildlife are thriving at both the River Ranch and the North Ranch. Predators play a key role in maintaining the WILD in wildlife. Without predators, deer and elk would act like cattle. When predator and prey are in balance, the entire ecosystem thrives.
